Backstory: Landed in Indianapolis at noon on Saturday, saw 12 homes. Wrote an offer by 9pm the same day, and moved in 30 days later. They had never been to Indianapolis until that day. Referral from a friend’s co-worker.
“My husband and I met Jessica when we were trying to buy our first home. As first-time homebuyers, we were praying to get a realtor who would be willing to work with us, work with our budget, and make the experience as stress-free as possible. We had already tried two realtors from other firms and then Jessica came our way.
To say she was a breath of fresh air compared to what we had already experienced would be putting it mildly. She made sure to show us multiple houses within our budget and gave us feedback every step of the way. Backstory: Worked to secure first home with first-time homebuyer loan program. Listed and sold home within two weeks of finding their next property. Through my knowledge and experience as an agent, I was able to figure out per an abrupt ending to a phone call with the listing agent that we needed to accept the seller’s counter offer to our original offer right away. (It was worth accepting, but I called to clarify questions.) We sent the accepted counter offer back before they could rescind their counter offer, and found out later they had received a new offer 28k higher than our contract price. The listing agent was about to hit the send button to rescind when our acceptance landed in their inbox. It turns out we were 41 seconds apart between the offers, and by God’s grace, we won.
